Earlier last week we had a picnic at the Riverwalk. It's one of our favorite places to go in the summer. We eat dinner on a quilt and the kids play in the fountain.....and by "kids" I mean all of us....

and we both love each other!
Time to play! We have to watch Lucy pretty carefully because sometimes she thinks its her own personal drinking fountain. GROSS.

Love it. It's one of the best parts of Tuscaloosa.
Where is the fountain? Is it the one by the Bama Belle? We were talking about taking Noah to let him try it, but we definitely want to start with a smaller fountain -- NOT the one on 15th Street!
ReplyDeleteYes! It is by the Bama Belle! I am with you on staying away from 15th street. We have taken Ryder there a couple of times when the one at the Riverwalk was down, and it was a nightmare. Aside from the fact that it is huge, and the water is really powerful, there are WAY TOO MANY kids there. And the kids are older and rough. This one is so calm. If he likes water and is adventurous then he will love it. Ryder isn't really the adventurous type, so this is the first year he runs in with no fear....but Lucy is close to Noah's age and loves it. It's just temperment I guess. But anyway, yes, a great fountain to start out on!
